DigiTally is an intuitive data collection, data amalgamation and reporting platform for food premises, delivering accurate and timely data on the volume and value of non-bar coded food stock inventory.
How do you control the value of products on your deli counters in multiple sites nationally and internationally?
How accurately and how quickly can you value your stock movements against remaining stock volumes and values, when bar codes are not available?
DigiTally provides the ability to count, value and report on non-bar coded stock items, amalgamating multi-site data in a fraction of the time required to date.
Food businesses buy ingredients and upon opening a pack lose the control bar codes give on stock volume and value. In such businesses there are issues with shrinkage, portion control and wastage leading to pressures on profit margins. In an attempt to monitor this, food businesses undertake regular counting and reporting of non-bar coded inventory.
Inventory counting is primarily recorded in written format, transcribed to excel and then sent to head office where the data from multiple locations is laboriously amalgamated. This system has multiple potential points of failure.
This inefficient process ensures that timely management decisions are postponed – or in circumstances prevented due to lack of reliability in the data.
DigiTally by providing a quick, simplified, intuitive data collection, amalgamation and reporting platform engages all stakeholders and provides management dashboard overviews at site, area, regional, national and international levels.
Sites using DigiTally show data reporting times reduced by more than 70% enabling decision making up to 72% faster. These sites have also shown, on average, an increase in food margins of 4.1%
